[Oculus Rift Suggestion] Button keypresses do not trasfer to new screen

For some reason I remember it originally being like this, but it only started doing this around 1.03

I am using a Logitech G940 and have the trigger as primary fire, and the pinky switch as secondary fire.

I am using an Eagle as an explorer ship, so no weapons and have used the discovery scanner bound to primary fire and secondary fire. As I am flying around, I press to let it begin its charge up procedure.. if I glance to the left or to the right, suddenly it stops the scanner charge up and will select whatever is now highlighted in that screen.

In beta I remember being able to start charging the scanner and if you look to the navigation screen, it did nothing and it still charged the scanner. It only started to affect the screen you were looking at once you released the button and from that point the trigger was you selection key as long as you were looking at that screen.

In other craft It would be nice to be able to keep shooting and if you glance left or right to make sure you are not heading at something, it did not suddenly open up your system map or galaxy map in the middle of a fight.
