Windows 10, Intel, GTX 1070 Founders, 16GB RAM, Oculus Rift
I've been an average player with ED, until I purchased the Oculus Rift. Now, it's almost the only thing I play with the Rift and it's amazing!
It came with an Xbox One controller, and while playing with the Rift on our family's main gaming PC, there is one feature on the controller that works with the Rift, and doesn't when you are NOT using the Rift. I'll explain...
So for example, with the RIFT, I map the B+HATDOWN to raise/lower landing gear, and just the B button all by itself to do an Engine Boost. HOWEVER, without a Rift (let's say I'm using the same PC or a different one in the house to play ED), the game doesn't let me map both without consequences. As soon as I hold the B button, I take off with Engine Boost before I have time to hit the HATDOWN.
With this, I can't have single button press for things I like, such as B= Engine Boost, Y=Frame ship jump, A= Target, X=retract hardpoints..... Because I like the luxury of the multiple button useage, I sacrifice single button toggle while not using Rift.
Any suggestions, on how to make this work without using the Rift?
Thanks in advance!
