Oculus SDK 1.0 shipping to devs with CV1 hardware

https://developer.oculus.com/blog/rift-sdk-1-0-shipping-to-developers-with-final-rift-hardware/

Will FDev be kind enough to give an update as to whether they have the SDK already and whether the issues with the Cobra engine have been resolved?

If they haven't got it, it's available to them now.

Considering ED works via SteamVR, I can't see how any incompatibilities with Cobra can't be overcome and now that OVR is giving away a copy of EVE Valkyrie FREE with pre-orders, they won't be taking money away from people buying ED.. or will they.. is that the problem?

FDev.. pleeeeease can we have a VR update.

You......do realize that with horizons it works with latest yes? so why this post at all? clearly they are working on it..

Do you know what you're talking about? Horizons works with SteamVR, not directly with the OVR runtime. So, performance loss as it's not native plus no built in VR monitor for streaming or recording game play. Plus, for multiple monitor set ups running Surround or Eyefinity, it's not easy to set up a custom resolution with 75hz.

You can keep putting up with work arounds, I'd like to see native support.

I'm worried, in SDK0.7 and up there is no extended mode, I wonder if Frontier will be ready for this changement to SDK1.0 without "beta testing" previous SDK built. On this Frontier is back.
Cross fingers and keep a bucket nearby

assuming FD have a CV1 along with SDK 1.0, I would love to hear their thoughts on the HMD and whether or not there is much, if any, difference between the 2 when in use.

When was the last time someone from Frontier wrote in this VR section of the Forum?
We are like rats, moltiplying same things over and over and eating each other.
No Sign from Frontier, even just to put a bit of relief and order.
Whatever! :D
