Oculus Store - redeem Key

I have gone through the process of redeeming a lifetime expansion pass in the store so i could launch with in the store, instead of having using the external access function.

The key links to your existing FD account, only down side is required another 6 GB DL of data i already have,

i have located existing install in C:\Users\zerow\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments

The oculus stuff seems to ewant to use C:\Program Files (x86)\Oculus\Downloads and has two directoiries (frontier-developments-plc-elite-dangerous and frontier-developments-plc-elite-dangerous_assets)

I will advise if i can find a method to bypass the new DL of data

Hi Ben,

I asked about this and sorry it seems that you will have to redownload, so that the oculus software is integrated.

On the download however if you pause and stop it once it starts then duplicate your files into the Oculus directory you are installing to you will need to download much less.

But if you are unsure how to do that I do advise leaving the installer so that its is installed again cleanly.
