Oculus Suggestion

I'm absolutely loving playing the game with the Oculus headset on, I think Frontier have just about nailed the usability and cockpit is very comfortable
My suggestion is around the non-cockpit display screens. I think they would be more comfortable for rift users if they were curved, or at least angled like the cockpit displays, so that reading the text at the edges was a bit easier. This would apply to the galaxy map, system map, and starport services. The other thing that you could do, is make the the text colour selectable. As has been noted elsewhere green is much more readable on the rift, and there are some hacks that allow this, but they come with side affects, like enemies also becoming green.

Again, they should rip out the whole idea of fullscreen mode of the galaxy map, system map and the outfitting screen.
Its just plain wrong and not VR. And breaks several VR rules and best practises.

Instead reproject those 3 systems on a big screen in the center of the cockpit. Same size and style as the station services.

Thats VR! What we have now is not.

If I remember correctly we were told in the alpha forums that projecting the galaxy map inside the cockpit was not feasible because of performance concerns an the need to keep the framerate high.

That being said the galaxy map's UI needs a VR version. The interface of the map is basically unusable in VR. I'll expect there will be more effort put into adding improvement to the VR support by the time CV1 comes out.
