That's an excellent point. I can confirm after trying out both, the FoV is tighter in the CV1, but there's no visible SDE. Of course situational awareness may suffer if you have slightly less peripheral vision.

I agree for a cockpit game, CV1 seems best suited. It's lighter, more comfortable for "flying" for hours. Motion controllers are pointless if you have a HOTAS. Of course when we get to leave the ships and go into FPS mode, they may be useful. Touch will be out by then, though.
