Odd configuration of bodies

I came across this odd arrangement on my way back to the bubble.

Rather than the moons showing as moons, it seems to depict them as a Quinary system (or Senary if you include the gas giant). In space, with the orbit lines on, it just looked like regular moons in orbit. Is this a regular thing? a bug?

It is showing that the moons are orbiting the gas giant which in turns orbits the brown dwarf.

It is showing that the moons are orbiting the gas giant which in turns orbits the brown dwarf.

I'd have expected that configuration with a bracket above the brown dwarf and the gas giant and the moons below.

Moons of moons are always like that, and when it is more then 2 it looks a bit funny.
