Odd human buldings found away from the bubble

Greetings commanders,

On our current exploration voyager we stumbled to what appears human build structures of some sort in the system Eafots TX-L d7-68

On Planets AB-1 and AB-2 (Eafots TX-L d7-68 On the planet surface we found one impact site - although we could not determine impact by what... few small wreckage sites,
which only seems to have some canisters leftovers from a ship I guess ... further review of the sites pending.

We were unable to penetrate into either of the facilities, although our EVA suits are old models and lack modern tools (note to self: upgrade the gear asap) . WE couldn't make heads or tails from the inscriptions on the buildings either AR-9 C CLASS 239 , 23 FRH32 SPEC 64, and the door on the other was marked FR 32 SPEC.

I have spotted a distress beacon on one of the planners and I'm currently flying there to investigate.

updates to follow.

note: the sites are only visible as described if logged in Odyssey

Found a wreck at where the beacon should be... the crash.. or whatever it was seems to have happened quite some time ago based on the wreckage look:

There are bunch of escape pods scattered all over the place.

This reminds me of early builds of Horizons, when you would find structures and crashed nav beacons thousands of light years away from the bubble. I thought it was neat, although of course completely silly at the same time, since no human before me was supposed to have visited those planets where I had a first discovered tag. Still, I always kind of wished they had simply created plausible alien assets and scattered procedural junk all over the galaxy rather than removed it altogether.

ah bummer :), for a moment I thought I discovered something cool, was still quite enjoyable though, this is my first "structure" find so far, and I also picked few escape pods for the RP element ;)

I'm still poking around these planners... find it curious to find humming active power source 7.744 LY away from Sol

I most certainly have to head home and upgrade the tools though.

Yeah, hopefully this is a mistake, like the deep space pirates in 1.0, and the tendency to stumble on crashed ships and nav beacons on a casual 10-minute drive thousands of light-years from home in 2.0.

It would be very cool to uncover a lost exploration ship, deep space rock hermit, or automated probe in the black once in a rare while, but finding them quite so regularly as they are popping up in Odyssey is way too much.

You only get a first discovered planet tag if you make it back and hand in your data. Obv these explorers did not.

I mean, hey, at least for now deep explorers can farm suit materials, while they're out exploring the unexplored...because they've ALL been explored and settled. ;P

But, yeah, even before Odyssey, you'd be well over 10K LY out and still find a crash site. Usually a crashed Condor or something.

Yeah. I found this 14000LY out... More than I expected.

Still, the prospect of having some of the new Materials to gather from crashed Satellites etc. technically isn't bad - it's just that the sheer amount of POIs is far higher than I'd expect.
By the time a few of those Signals are checked out, others in the list have already vanished (they seem to run off a timer just like Signal Sources in Space - and will disappear at random, as that timer on them isn't visible as it is in space).

I guess their number could be toned down in line with
  • distance from nearest civilization
  • presence of 1st Discovery tags in the System (Explored vs. Unexplored, for the latter o I'd expect less POIs than for explored ones which' Data got sold to UC)

Странно находить обломки, искусственные сооружения и другие следы человеческой деятельности в каждой неисследованной системе на каждой(!) планете в 9000 световых годах от пузыря. Это абсурд. Я надеюсь, что они исправят это в будущих патчах.
