Well, in reality the hyperdiction itself went as expected, it's when it ended it became odd, I manage to hit my boosters before all power was lost, max boost on my Conda is 308m/s, you know the routine, the thargoid stops you in your tracks, then maneuvers in front and begins scanning, only this time it seems I stayed ahead of the thargoid(no power remember), then when power returned, the thargoid was already leaving, it didn't even scan, it's like it couldn't be bothered or lost track.
Maybe there's a tactic there if you're on the ball, we've seen that some thargoids in the trailers won't be asking questions, I figure if you're in a ship that's not fitted for combat with thargoids, the moment you drop into normal space, hit thrust before power goes out, and maybe momentum will keep you ahead and out of danger?
