Odd weapon stats on beam laser.

I'm confused, mind you, that's not a first.

I'm trying to "adapt" to the new NPC, so I figured to counter the NPC spamming of chaff, I'd swap out my 3C gimble beam laser for a fixed 3C beam laser while keeping my multicannon gimbled, now here's the confusion, the fixed 3C has a higher power and distribution draw, this makes no sense to me, they are the same weapon, but the fixed does not use power for a gimble, am I missing something?

The Fixed Weapon should actually be larger, so draws more power but does more damage

For same size hardpoint Fixed bigger than Gimballed which are in turn bigger than Turret


At least that is my understanding

Thanks for that, I obviously have a misunderstanding of class, I made the faulty assumption the same class weapon would have the same power draw and fire power.
