I have a seperate account just for exploration, as Oddessy has now got over some initial teething problems I thought it a good time to upgrade from Horozons to Oddessy.
Having got used to the new UI I thought the next stage would be to check out the new planet scanning system, found a planet with fauna ,landed, jumped in the SRV found the fauna, went out on foot only to realise I don't have the bio scanner in the basic flight suit. My option to get one is to fly back to the bubble for about a month and get the upgrade
A suggestion might be, in the initial Oddessy set up, to offer an option of loadout so those way out in the black have the option of the bio scanner?
