Oddness...

OK, sorry for the weird thread title. Not really sure what to put there, nor if this should more properly be put into bugs, but then, I'd guess more a glitch...

So to start, I was leaving Wangal this morning in my T-10 on the CG run. I was travelling empty, and there were three other commanders (that I could see) in the instance... Oh, this was in "Mobius PVE Eurasia", for the record. Anyway, there was some shooting going on outside, between NPCs and maybe the station.

As I was going through the mailbox, I suddenly got a message "Shield Generator Attack" and lost a whole ring of shields - not that it was a huge shield to start with, seeing as I was cargo hauling a relatively short distance. Anyway there was no more damage, nobody/nothing turned red... and as I was on my way out, I jumped and docked at my next system.

Checking the log file, there is no record of any attack, nor of my ship taking any damage, although I had a repair bill of just under 1000Cr. Now, I won't bemoan 1000Cr, I get worse bills if I land hard or scrape the station... I'm just confused as to how there's no record in the journal...

Any ideas, anyone? :S

But I actually have heard that message when battling Scouts in beta. I don’t know what it means though.

Did the station accidentally shoot you with its uber laser? Would be funny if then the station got a fine and all the security ships attacked the station XD

Or did you bump into the ToastRack?

Best guess: the Station was firing on something behind you and clipped you. I've heard that message when I've been fired on by Station guns.

No idea about the logs though, sorry.

I wouldn't have thought the toastrack would be a generator attack. I'd say more likely i got hit by a stray shot... More concerned about the lack of log entry really.
