As it only clones all steam and epic games updates, yes.Hello, do you think odyssey alpha will be usable via Geforcenow ?
I searched but I couldn't find any information on the subject.![]()
can confirm (i tried yesterday) - i didn't took the time to install the update though, which geforce now would allow (it is clickable) (because you'd have to go through the process everytime).Doesnt work, because its somehow not (yet) supportet!
it's totally brilliant to manage a FC - or if you are away from a machine which can run ed/horizons, but want to check something on the system map.I can't imagine running ED, with it's infamously fast and reliable P2P network, would be a very good experience streaming from yet another machine in the mix. It's likely not a loss.

It's witchcraft. Geforce NOW runs ED beautifully. They use some kind of older but commercial grade GPU a Tesla p40 in Europe. Not sure how they did it, but I don't have a great internet connection and can't tell the difference between playing on cloud Vs local. Cloud machine actually runs it better. How does it fare with actual gameplay?
Providing you have a decent internet connection (ethernet cable recommended) it rivals, if not outperforms, a standard local setup. How does it fare with actual gameplay?
Cant you just link your accounts through frontier and play them wherever? My potato of a PC (AMD Athalon X4 3.7Ghz Quad Core CPU) ran Cyberpunk 2077 as good as high-end PC's via GeForce Now.
I have no doubt it would run Elite Dangerous beautifully as well .... but my main account is not on Steam.
I have a 2nd and 3rd accounts ... but I don't ever play them. So no point me putting them on Steam just to play via GFN.
i haven't really looked into it, i just wanted a workaround if i don't have a machine running ed/horizon with me (but the base game even runs on my years old battered ex-work laptop via tethering...), and the drawbacks (you have to set up keybindings each time, you can't run tools like edmc) are too restricting for me. but for quickly doing something ingame, it runs well enough - even on my android ...How does it fare with actual gameplay?
Once you link your Elite Dangerous account through Steam, you can't un-link it and you can't run the game direct from Frontier's launcher, you'd have to run it through Steam.Cant you just link your accounts through frontier and play them wherever?

I regularly use Geforce NOW for Odyssey play from Day2 (first day I have played on my gaming PC). I have quite good experience with GFN, however is good to say that this service needs adequate connection (fast and stable). For Odyssey performance in GFN I can only say that it is really good idea to check how is set supersampling. Above 1.0 it will cause serious performance drop to everything on foot.Hello, do you think odyssey alpha will be usable via Geforcenow ?

Most things work but I can't get the mouse to work in FSS or DSS, there is no ability to move around making it impossible to use. Any solutions out there?
Thanks Hans. After a lot of resetting and trial and error I managed to get it working again. Basically had to set to keyboard only and then back to with mouse and things started happening! CheersI just checked, it works for me. GFN saves your key bindings/mouse settings, it's worth checking that they didn't get reset somehow.
