Really dumb questions about multiplayer-multicrew in Odyssey.

1) Can a multicrewed player leave someone elses's ship on foot? I assume you can cause you want to do foot missions in teams.

2) If two players land ships side-by-side and one multicrews to the other, what happens to their ship? Does it disappear?

3) I thought the concept of multiplayer-multicrew was using telepresence. How does that work outside the ship? And how does your hologram buddy carry weapons. Or get shot?


I would try this but I don't have any friends. But I am really curious.

I would try this but I don't have any friends. But I am really curious.

The Odyssey version is physical not telepresence, you have to actually be at the location of the other commander‘s ship or Scorpion SRV to board it rather than dial in from the other side of the Galaxy.

Or so I have read, I haven’t tried anything more multiplayer than winging up I’ve not even teamed up.
