Odyssey bars

After watching the interior gameplay and more specifically the part when the player approaches the bar, there is no option to buy and drink beer, if they decided to add a bar to a starport then you'd think buying a drink option would be a given, thoughts?

Need a John Shepard option of drinking until you pass out and wake up on toilet floor the next day.

Maybe it has to do with the game ESRB rating or maybe just that you can't drink a beer with a space suit helmet.

MUH IMMERSN!
Buy yourself some real booze of choice then drink it whenever you think your character should.
Advantages include no need for fancy survival mechanics, you don't have to buy a round, disadvantages include having to go to buy booze (although my local brewery now deliver).

I'm up for meeting you in the bar overlooking the station entrance to drink every time a newbie stacks their ship - it could become a new sport!

It would be nice to have the glass visible in the game, as well as on my desk.

fable lost chapters was a pegi 16 and you could get drunk, screen started blurring and character was harder to control
its an old game though so maybe the pegi allowance has changed

Simple solution: Order the beer without the space suit helmet.
BTW, you could also get drunk in The Witcher. The blurry vision and slower response with your weapon was painfully noticeable.

FYI, back in my younger days I would fly my eagle over to a small refinery / outpost to pick up uranium and sell it back at my home station for profit. It was fun watching the noobs in sidewinders try landing on the pad. . .without asking for clearance and forgetting to deploy the landing gear. One belly-flop after another. Good times back then.

If you can get a few drinks then you'd also need the whole toilet experience. Not sure if i'm ready for CMDRs lining up at urinals (or trying to find the right zip in their Remloks).
