Odyssey - cancel or re-route Apex shuttles

Would appreciate the ability to cancel or divert an Apex journey whilst en-route.

For example, I was playing earlier with a buddy. I was killed by something invisible. Spawned 150,000 ls away. Hopped in another taxi to get back to my buddy, during which time he was also killed. I still had to complete the journey only to get out of the taxi, watch it leave, get myself killed just to respawn back where I started. What a waste of time.

Being able to get the space-Uber to turn back and return to the starting station, or divert to another destination would be really useful.

yes this is 100% needed. a stacking fee to stop spamming it maybe? also, when walking in ships is a thing, i hope i can hold the taxi driver hostage like in real life.

Was requested during the Alpha due to players getting stuck in endless landing loops, had one instance myself, wasn't fun and sorted itself out with a relog, but if it hadn't I would have been stuck forever, or until the shuttle ran out of fuel. It would be useful.

I'm actually stuck in a loop, the shuttle is trying to land on a settlement and the whole game crashes everytime it starts the final landing manoeuvre. no matter what I do. I'm stuck forever. No amount of relogs or restarts would help. When I load the game the same sequence have already started and the game crashes again and again !

I saw a destination was over 100k light seconds away and decided to change my mind... couldn't cancel or change route... would definitely like this feature...

100% agree, a divert/cancel option and we also need the ability to tell the taxi to land near a settlement instead of waiting for a pad. essential because there are times it is game breaking without.
e.g. currently game breaking when another player is docked on the settlement pad. The shuttle simply repeats requesting docking for what can be a very long time. only option is to relog in solo, Horizons or hope the commander sees chat requests to move their ship.

has been an issue since Alpha

+1

Agreed, this would be sensible, and i don't see how it breaks anything.

Would have to be restricted on range from the initial point of origin since the shuttles don't scoop. But yes, it should be a thing.

Agreed, great idea. I have been careful to avoid making the mistake booking out so far but it's better to have the option.
