Odyssey desynchronization problems and why i can't see my friends?

Hello, i'm posing here because honestly i don't know where to ask this and after searching for months it seems like i'm the only poor soul experiencing these problems... so let me explain what is happening to me:

Since odyssey was released i started experiencing a sort of "desynchronization" problems when trying to play with my friends.
What happens is that basically we cannot see each other when joining our private group while in Horizons it worked flawlessly and it was instantaneous.
To make it work i need to hop in my ship, jump into supercruise and go at ~200km from my friend beacon and then jump back to them.
While this can be annoying, i can do it if it's the way the devs intended....
What i cannot stand is that there's constant risk of desynchronization between me and my friend after every jump;
be it a fleet carrier jump, a ship jump from one star to another or even a jump in the same system: EVRYTIME there's a jump into supercruise involved it's a gamble and there's a 50/50 chance that my friend will just disappear, leave team or wing and we both have to start all over again to synchronize and be able to see each other again.

So my questions are:

Am i the only one experiencing this or is it a known problem?
Is there a solution or do i just have to deal with it and ignore odyssey and go back to horizon?

That one sucks. Make sure you're port forwarding.

by playing is the only way I know of...……..
diff colour snake messages are indicative of peer to peer network errors/quirks and imo
are 90% of the time the fault of the amazon servers and network that fd hire to run the game on
( it has good and bad days)
portforwarding, static ip addresses, upnp enablement is just your way of ensuring network compliance
and contacting support will usually result in them advising you to do the same
fd chose to use the cheaper peer to peer server hire option rather than the more expensive and stable client servers available in order to minimize expenditure & maximise profit
see post 8 here https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/cant-login-through-frontier-steam.618617/#post-10186791 for further info
planetside 2 has run expensive client servers for decades and wots more is it's free to play
and is my no 1 recomended goto source for testing my online connectivity for massive multiplayer online gaming but be warned the learning curve is, like this game more like a cliff than said curve.
