Odyssey Ground missions - still broken?

I have figured out how to get the salvage missions working (if the items aren't there you need to logout and back in until they appear), but the missions like sabotage are truly broken....
Like having to retrieve an item but when you get to the site the item isn't available.....

Am I wasting my time and coin getting killed over and over for these ground missions?

Thanks Frill. I have recently returned to see if they have begun to look at these issues, but a year or two later and am seeing the same bugs.....

Might go do some other stuff until they fix this stuff....it's too much of a time-sink/timewaste to crack on for me...

Odyssey has not been out for even one year yet. And other than Frilly it seems everyone else is managing. Sure, there's a few instances that are broken - but most players work them out and get on with the 99% that work fine.

Every few salvage mission seems to break - either mission item isn't available or the crate i'm supposed to look for somehow spawned underground.

Hi all! After searching a few hours for a solution and nothing to found I decided to try it in this thread. Is there any solution or workaround for salvage mission which doesn't show any mission marker? I tried a few of them but I could only one complete. The other missions didn't show the crash site I was ordered to fly to. I am a bit desperate meanwhile.

You need to DSS a planet if you haven't mapped it before, otherwise mission locations don't show. You may also need to move a bit closer after the scan before it shows.

Wow. Ok. Now I feel a bit stupid. Didn't know that. Just wondering now why this one mission worked without DSS. I circled a while around the planets of the other missions but nothing happened or appeared on the navigation panel.
