Hopefully FDev will release hotfix 11.1 and fix the Journal naming scheme

Wow, colour me surprised. Didn't expect any third party applications to break or malfunction as soon as I read that user comment about the new naming convention in the U11 thread.

Either the developer of the application needs to update it or FDev needs to revert the change in the next hotfix/patch. Or you could probably manually change the filenames, just don't do it with the active journal file.

I had the same problem, go to the Material Helpers home page & download the latest version (it was updated today) it worked GREAT for me! Good luck! o7 Gary...

Every time I try to open it now, it updates for a second then crashes with an error dialogue saying: "child process exited with code 1" just as it tries to launch the application.

Might want to try to uninstall it completely, download the latest installer package and reinstall it. I tried it for the first time last week and it works just fine.

Will do. Bit of a pain to have to recreate the blueprint wishlists, but I suppose they needed a review anyway.
I have to admit I didn't look into the documentation, but it looks like that kind of data is stored in AppData\Local\odyssey-materials-helper. You might not lose anything.

I'm having the same issue with "child process exited with code 1" error and the program quitting. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no joy.

Last night Norton decided to quarantine Elite Dangerous Odyssey Materials Helper, and refused to restore it. I've had to completely reinstall it (have lost all my Wishlists) in order to get Norton to ignore it on a "behaviour" check. Has anyone else had this, or did it somehow get infected?
