Greetings Commanders... Made the hard decision to continue exploring in Odyssey rather than go the Legacy route. Just finished up some engineering upgrades and will be heading out to SGR A from Colonia here shortly. I'm no fan of bio exploration, at least the way FD implemented it. But... I'm thinking, what the hell, I get out there and a month or two from now I might fumble around with it a bit to break the routine. Big reveal... I'm no gamer. I can fly my Krait well (Thrustmaster Warthog) and can runthe SRV with a game pad to collect mats (took some time to master that!). I fly.... F18C Hornets off of carrier decks in DCS, 737's and GA in MSFS for nearly 20 years. I'm a RL pilot. I came over to ED about 18 months ago after retirement and am enjoying learning and exploring. The problem: I have spent HOURS looking for FD or other resources that explain how to use a gamepad to interact with the desk clerk at the Pioneer Outfitting shop in Colonia to buy an Artemis suit. Complete failure. I'm a big proponent of RTFM. But there is no M to be found. The turorials in game are pre Odyssey. Unbelievable. All the "I'm cool and your not" video's assume you have years of experience in FPS games. I don't. Does someone know of a resource that would walk me through movement, equipment, Artemis suit buying, talking to clerks etc etc.... I failed the trail and error method horribly. It took 20 minutes to figure out how to get back into the front office from the space port landing pad. Any pointing to resources I can learn at my own pace would be most welcomed. I want to make some planetary landings, walk around and do a shake down BEFORE heading out. That way if I kill myself or do serious damage I'm close enough to a starport to mend the mistake. Thanks!!!! This shouldn't be this hard to do, but it is.

There is a manual - the link to it is on your launcher - however it has not been updated since game version 2.4 - so completely useless for EDO.
I have no idea why F D can't be bothered to update their "living manual" it is really annoying.
