Odyssey Passenger transport/tourism industry gameplay

I usually love carrying passengers on my Beluga and I feel like where odyssey is concerned passenger transit really got the shaft, there was so much that could have done with FPS and even a fancy saud krugar SRV involving more immersive expericences to having passengers than pick up and drop off, never seeing them board the ship or interacting with them. Like showing them sites and taking them on an SRV safari and seeing people on the surface exploring. Having a cruise that you plot and getting paid depending on how many interesting things they see and having them participate when disembarking the vessel.

These concepts are kind of what i expected in Odyssey:

What do you think? What would you add to make the commercial travel more fleshed out?
 
Especially with the tourist settlements being present in odyssey it would be great to see the actual passengers coming in and out of the ships. It would make the passenger missions much more immersive as currently they are very similar to hauling cargo.

The idea of using SRV or even on foot exploration sounds like fun. We could have then missions like taking passengers on a trip to show them specific bio organisms on some planet, explore an abandoned settlement or even explore alien places.
Another example would be to visit the tourist settlements and taking passengers on a trip around the planet or just transporting them on and off the holidays.

It would be also great to see some passenger transport offers in the bar area (both station concourses and the tourist settlement bars).
 
Absolutely!

I can only dream of the day this kind of stuff (ferrying passenger who are more than whiny cargo, with actual interactions) will be possible, if ever. I'm all for more immersion!

Even with the current teleportation to ship mechanic, just make so the passenger at least go to your docking port and teleport in your ship (and teleport out of it when you end your mission), that would be great and help feeling we are carrying persons, not cargo.

Also, I could really do with the kind of vistas from that first concept. Where are atmospheric worlds?

I really would like basic ship interiors too, that would go a long way immersion-wise. Nothing too fancy ala Star Citizen (I'm 1000% wanting these, it's just not going to happen), just give me a basic cockpit FPS traversal and maybe one room to explore ala X4. Heck, I would even be satisfied with just the current cockpits as long as I can stand from my pilot chair and wander around while in computer assisted supercruise.

Also, where are the EVA and boarding actions from the Kickstarter?
