I don't know if it will help in anyway shape or form but I'd thought I'd share anyway there is a petition to try to get Ffev to restart Odyssey development for consoles.

To what point?
Fdev won't /can't do it for us console players so you can play EDH as there is lots to do or play something else
I'm playing something else and it's a horrible game where I'm enjoying myself so much it's eating into my sleep time , along with a lot of my Xbox squadron commanders . Funny thing is we now have crossplay and the community is fun .
I sat with my elite screen open and after 5 years ? ( Over 8 months game time ) I closed it down . I'm on a fleet carrier heading back to the bubble once there I will decommission my FC and that's that .... I had fun for those years...

Let's say it would be feasible and Frontier would need another 2 years to accomplish that... considering the game story will move forward never-the-less...
How many of consoles players would actually wait for it? 2 Full years... just to then comeback to a game that would have pretty much moved on...

My guess this is exactly the reason Frontier decided to cancel it to begin with... they might change their approach? Maybe... perhaps it would make sense to do so for ED2

I'd guess that Frontier restarting development for present generation consoles is more likely that ED2. Not that I think either are likely at all.
