Odyssey - using credit fractions for ground realism

I think it would be more realistic if all the new ground stuff cost was not in simple credits but 1/1000 fraction of credits of the currently introduced values.

In "space" a tonne of food costs 60 credits. If you try to sell it for individual consumption you'd have to sell that food as a fraction of 1 credit.

A ground suit costs 150.000 credits while a Sidewinder costs 36.000 credits - with fractions the suit would cost "only" 150 credits.
 
Probably a bit late now, but yeah, it feels like on foot stuff could have done with a separate currency. Microcredits or something.

Maybe then the on foot mission payouts could be balanced around that without having to worry about ship mission payouts.

And possibly if there was a new microcredit to earn, we wouldn't have quite as much "engineering" materials to worry with...
