General Odyssey: Weapons, Projectiles and Grenades

Pistols are kinda strange:
Laser burst+auto pistol with recoil.
Kinetic pistol which looks like PDW, refuses to fire in bursts or full auto.
Suggest to reduce the damage but adjust the fire modes, for adequate usability. Or, at least, give us engineering options (single fire/burst/autofire with pros and cons).

Lack of weapon classes for damage types:
-Kinetic shotgun
-Kinetic precision rifle/sniper rifle
-Kinetic MG (heavy weapon type)
-Shotlaser (3-6 laser rays per shot)
-Sniper laser
-Raygun/Autolaser (heavy weapon type)
(I'm surprised that the plasma weapon series are pretty wholesome, but still something is missing too, imo)
-Plasma SMG
-Plasma accelerator (heavy weapon type)

Kinetic rifle vs. kinetic SMG:
For some unknown reason devastating rifle with big moving barrel is more accurate and has less recoil than Kriss Vector type SMG.
Suggest to swap their features (accuracy and recoil)
And same for laser gun and SMG.

The projectile speed on-foot is incredibly small.
Ballistic - it's not ballistic at all, with such low speed, gravity doesn't affect the curve of bullet path. Speed itself is really unnatural too. Care for slowpeople?
Plasma - incredibly slow. With lack of tracking features like for ship weapons, plasma is hard/impossible to use on mid/long distances.
Suggest to speed up the projectiles by 50-100%.

Grenades are hard to use too - no sticky, no proximity. Throwing is not to crosshair but somewhere above, why?
Suggest to improve grenade mechanics.

The only thing i'd really love to have is an aiming method for grenades (which will account for local gravitational levels) and a detonation delay control (or even a counter or something) and/or a fixed timer from the moment of arming a grenade.
