My download simply wouldn't complete. Just sat there for days. Tried many fixes. Now it tries to load and fails. Waiting for the next update so I can watch it fail again.

all I can suggest trying to connect via a vpn
and disabling the cache check in the launcher options
and maybe lowering your mtu just a tad
