I really would like to have an OFFICIAL document from FD in which is described HOW the Horizon Installation works.
It was stated that on steam Horizon would have been released later, the launcher called in the steam installation FORCED me to do another installation and even before the "alternative" new installation of ED had completed the download of Horizon, the Steam client patched ED for 8.1 giga and gave me access to horizon features (as is supposed to work a SW distribution platform.)
Now I can, and in fact I Had, redeem the Horizon key on steam.
I can install Horizon with a 6 gb download.
I can't see any difference but the launch possibilities, because the old installation launcher give me multiple options with 32 and 64 bits (horizon only 64 tho), the new installation launcher only has 64 bit horizon launcher.
Can we have some indication where FD explain HOW the differents launchs works? can we unistall the "stand alone" horizon installation since the older one allow us to launch also horizon 64 bits?
Thanks.
