I'm preordering nothing after the last few releases. It's pure hype. I'll wait and see if they manage to make it any good first. Promise is nothing in this game. Execution is everything.

I preordered back in Premium Beta ;)

I sure wish there were some cool things besides paint jobs in the store. I want bobbleheads, pin-up pictures, lights, plaques and more stuff to put in my ship!

After working out how much I spent on the game, 2 HOTAS a new video card and a cool switch panel, another $65 aus isn't bad. Now, what about 1.4 patch details.......

When pre-ordering from a large publisher when the game has yet to be release at all then yes most certainly. But considering (I would assume) that those of us pre-ordering Horizons are mostly happy with how ED turned out so far and want to support it's continued development then no, not a bane at all in this case.

And yeah, I pre-ordered Horizons. I'm not quite willing to drop for the lifetime pass, because I want to make sure FD feels the need to earn my money year after year. But for Horizons, heck yes. Looks like fun.
