Enjoy!

What's the quality of the cloth used in the T-shirts? "thin that will last 6 months or so" or "sturdy that will last a few years at least"?

Shirts look good, but the mug has the old logo:

Is that just the wrong photo on the store, or has the old logo been used for some reason?

The mug is the same a I got from the the Kickstarter, by the looks of it. I've bought the first two shirts. Should be a good talking point for many at the office. :)

order from a shop that has no stock details displayed, doesn't give you a dispatch notification and keeps you waiting 10 months and counting for a delivery? no thanks

I believe there is confusion between crowd-funding and online store.
They are not mutually interchangeable. And since the store hasn't been offering merchandise for very long I'd recommend contacting FD about your outstanding unfulfilled donations.

already done, I was informed 3 days ago that the mug i'm waiting for was dispatched 'after' the tshirt i got last week and that it would be with me 'soon' but my comment still stands, without the details you would expect from an online store like in/out of stock and dispatch notification to tell you when your product is on its way i wont be buying anything from the ED store.

Glad you are getting your funded items.
Not sure the store would be handled the same as KS Fulfillment (pretty certain it isn't). Is that what you are basing your store features statement on or other direct or indirect exposure to how the store works?

basing it on the KS rewards, but just noticed that they now have 'in stock' on the tshirts so they managed to get something right.

basically my problem is any company that thinks it's acceptable to keep some customers waiting 10 months for something others have already received isnt one i'm prepared to do further business with. plus they added insult to injury when they added the mugs to the store for a tenner, half the price i paid for it. if it had been delivered when i ordered it it wouldn't of bothered me but as i still haven't received my mug it's beyond a joke.

Hope that your cup will not be broken in the package, when it is delivered

Your complaint is a common one I've heard over and over from Kickstarter backers who feel that crowd-funding is a guarantee or the same as a retail store purchase commitment. I know many KS backers who have never gotten their rewards, many more who get them late. Kickstarter is NOT a store. People voluntarily donate money with the HOPE of getting something cheaper than retail far into the future. It is NOT the same as a pre-order.
And all Kickstarter fullfillment dates are ESTIMATES, not promises.
I'm very sorry you are upset but I believe it is over how Kickstarter works more than how FD works. If you look
At all KS 'projects' I think you will see it differently and perhaps even note that FD is above the average but I haven't reviewed when your estimated fulfillment date is so I won't jump the gun here.
I just do not think throwing mud at the store for KS fulfillment is a fair assessment of their practices, service or features.
Sorry if I sound dismissive or whatever.

I second this. Not meaning to be dismissive either, but KS is basically a funding venue, not a store.

if the t-shirt and mug was a KS reward i could agree with you, but the only mention of either on kickstarter is the t-shirt as part of the box set, nowhere is a mug mentioned.

i bought the items via the backers app in MAY, months after the kickstarter finished and AFTER they had already started delivering tshirts and mugs to backers.

by the time i paid for mine it seems they were out of stock of the t-shirts in my size, did i get an email informing me of this? NO

was any public announcement made informing people that further purchases of this item would be delayed? NO

the first i heard of it after that was a few weeks ago when i got an email informing me they had redesigned the t-shirt so i wouldn't be getting the one seen in the dev diary.

keep in mind that i ordered mine AFTER the shirt was shown off in said diary (so i thought i knew what i was ordering) and also keep in mind that 10 months after ordering i am still waiting for the mug i paid £20 for to turn up, then add the fact that the same item is now available in store for half the price and you may begin to see why this has wound me up so much. if it had been a different mug in the store i wouldn't of had a problem, but i was under the impression that those mugs were exclusive to backers, now i'm getting something that any old tom or harry could buy and its just doesnt seem worth it - its lost its exclusivity.

regardless of when the purchase was made the very least the FD could of done is keep people informed and they failed quite miserably on that score.

as for the argument that people buy things via kickstarter to get them cheaper in this case it is not at all valid as a t-shirt and a mug for £50 isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination, a point that in emphasised by the fact they are now selling them £7 cheaper when p&p is taken into account.

The mugs and t-shirts were part of the add-ons during the KS. The t-shirts in the box-set will be a different design again.

But, yes, I do understand your frustration now that I realise that you paid for them _after_ the end of the Kickstarter. The backer app was still a funding venue, so the increased prices are understandable, but the delay&silence aren't.

But, on a lighter note, I cannot fathom that anyone would knowingly want to buy the awful design that the first t-shirt was! ;)
