Yes we at the Earth Defense Fleet are openly recruiting again. Alow me to take this time to tell you a little about the (EDF). We at the (EDF) take a strategic and organized approach to game play in elite dangerous. We are also very active in the greater Hudson reddit community. We welcome all commanders who wish to participate in powerplay or who just wish to serve the federation Community. If you are new to elite dangerous or a current commander looking for a strategic and organized group to participate with please take the time and look at joining the (EDF). We have our own website as well as our own teamspeak server.

I'm a member of the EDF as well, I would like to point out that we have two factions within EDF, those that want to play PowerPlay and those that do not. In the end we all end up working together to help strengthen the Federation.

Alow me to take this time to talk you a little about myself. So that when you are making your decision on weather or not to join our fleet you will better understand what to expect from me and the way I look on leadership.
I have been in construction field my hole life and I understand the importance of Organization to accomplish a goal.
I have also been involved in many mmo's in my gaming experience and have been a guild leader many time.
I also feel that it is my privilege and responsibility to provide and dynamic and engaging environment for those who follow my leadership.
And as far as my decision to pick the federation and to pledge to Zachary Hudson well I am a God and Country type of man so it felt natural to do so. Let me say this I am not the type of person who likes to micro manage I put teams together and let them do what the have to do. I work on the big picture for the fleet. So if this type of leadership feels right for you take the time to checkout our forums and checkout the greater Hudson reddit community.

I would like to take this time to talk about the Greater Hudson reddit community. Were to start? Well the community first and foremost believe in working together for a common goal. The growth and development of the Federation they work hand in hand with the Winters community. They believe that though there is two factions there is only one Federation. They also believe that having well trained and well fitted commanders makes for a strong Federation and with that Believe to guide them they do all they can to help each other learn and grow in Elite Dangerous. So that is why we at the EDF participate in the Greater Hudson reddit community. They share the same values and feelings as we in the EDF do. So in conclusion if you are looking to be apart of a great and fun community. And you want to help fellow commanders and grow the Federation you will find that in the EDF and the Greater Hudson Community.

Many of you may wonder what do we do at the EDF. Well first and foremost we are supporters of President Hudson. We are very involved with the Greater Hudson Reddit Community. We also run operations to manipulate the background stimulation to help support President Hudson so if you are interested in participating in these kind of activities you will fit right in the Earth Defense Fleet. So take some time and head to our forums to see for yourself what we have going on.

I wanted to take this time to talk a little about what keeps me coming back to Elite Dangerous. Ever since I was a little biker I have always want to be an astronaut. When I was about 6 years old my family went to Cape Canaveral mind you this was back in the Seventies yes I am that old. From that time going forward anything space related was always on my mind. I am a big time Star Trek and Star Wars fan. I even collected Star wars trading cards and my brother and I made the posters with them.
So you must be asking your self what dose all that have to do with Elite Dangerous well it has everything thing to do with it. Elite is the only game that I know of that when I walk out of my house and look up at the night sky I can point at it and say I have been there. Now I know it is only a game but it is the closest way I am ever going to get to the stars. Especially since I can not break Earth's gravity on my Harley. But I can always dream for a space Harley. Till that day comes I will always have Elite Dangerous and my Red, White and Blue Viper. So I just would like to say thank you FD for making this game and I hope to fly with like minded commanders as time goes on.

In order to promote the ideal of two factions one Federation we at the Earth Defense Fleet are now opening recruitment to any commander who is pledged to shadow president Winters. We are also going to expand all on going background stimulation operations to include Winters occupied space. We are not doing this to take away from any already established player groups that are pledged to Winters. We are doing this only to provide content for all Federation commanders no mater what power you wish to follow. We at the Earth Defense Fleet strongly feel that " two factions one Federation " is our main goal. We are also opening recruitment to those Federation commanders who do not participate in power play. As we are mainly running operations involving the background simulation.

We at the EDF are looking for a Commanders with a specific skill set. Currently we at the EDF have been experiencing a lot of success with our on going operation " Spotlight" and we wish to share with the community all of our success stories as well as our struggles. So what we are looking for is that commander who has a creative touch with writing. Who could take on the job as the EDF's PR officer. At the fast rate at which the EDF is growing and the ever changing job that is OP " Spotlight" there is always plenty of content to write about and a lot to share with the community. Watching your progress and endeavors made me very interested as I am trying to understand how the whole PP works.

That idea is especially interesting (as I do feel fairly weak in respect to being involved in huge PP activities).

Please join us on our forum. We can help to understand PP. You earn more merits when you wing up.

We are doing some amazing things with the background simulation, and have more plans in the works.
