Was fortifying a certain system last night becuase it was being undermined. And before i went to bed i grabbed another batch so i Dont have to spend any credits in the morning.

I wake up this morning to discover the system i was trying to fortify is now at 100%. So i leave the station to go grab more somewhere else. And knowing I had no use for the ones i currently had I jettisoned them without thinking.

Then i had ai thought as i was flying to the next system.. I work for zemina... You fortify systems by bringing political prisoners to the capital.

I JUST SHOVED 20 TONS OF PEOPLE OUT THE AIRLOCK BECAUSE THEY WERE NO LONGER USEFUL TO ME.

No worries. I scooped a load up once thinking they might be useful. Turned out they were worthless to me and taking up cargo capacity so we parted company in deep space!!

just hope they where really fat people for 20 tons might only be about 80 people.

:D Well well well. This guy defected from us to Torval. In no part of our Power activities do we transport hapless prisoners. Obviously the rumours of our villany have been greatly exaggerated. Political prisoners indeed! Is this what Zemina does to those who question her?!

It was a mistake! I didnt mean to kill all those people! Nooo!

(Whats really bad is if you consider what 20 tons of people is to Americans.. Thats around 1000, people if you assume every single one is overweight. Its possible i just wiped out a towns worth of people...) EDit. Never mind Math is not my strong suit.

It would be around 200 people in pounds...

No.
If an average person weighs 80 kgs, then that's 240 people.
If an average American weighs 120 kgs, then that's 160 Americans.
And, incredibly, they mostly call them all "cities" here.

Earlier today a guilty commander in the service of Senator Zemina Torval was found drowning his woes in a pilot's bar. Unfortunately for him, the drink and the crushing weight of guilt caused him to spill the secret reason for his state; he dumped what he estimates to be around 1000 people in an unknown part of deep space. The pilot claimed it was an accident, but when asked if the individuals were registered Imperial slaves, he reluctantly admitted that Senator Torval has been cracking down on dissent in systems under her influence by having political opponents arrested on trumped up charges and imprisoned indefinitely in her capital system. Fellow Imperial notables have reacted with shock and horror. Senator Patreus issued an immediate call for pilots to mount a rescue mission, and described Senator Torval's disregard for habeas corpus as "utterly deplorable".

Not many of us weigh only 44 lbs... perhaps you meant 100?

Of course, not many of us weigh 440 either... my best was only 285.

I was talking Pounds.. a ton is 2000 pounds. 20 tons = 40,000 Pounds. Each person is 200 pounds.

NeverMind My math was off.. 200 Pounds a person. 10 of those is a ton.... Around 200 people then... More if those are not overweight.
