Oh what a perfect day...

I've never found a system with two earth likes. I've never found more than two on the same day (and that only twice). I once tagged 6 in just over 24 hours but that was winged with Chiggy and he found 5 of them...

Until today.

In 12 systems, and 220 light years I just found 4. One was a moon and two were in the same system (it only took me 20,602 goes...). When I pinged the ADS on the last one and saw two all but certain ELWs I let out a cheer that I was momentarily certain would lead to children waking up to see what was happening (fortunately not).

Still need a ringed one, and one that's a moon of a gas giant rather than an HMC but I'm still feeling pretty good right now. In a way I could never explain to anyone other than my fellow ED explorers...

PS - the ELW in the double system were both part of binary systems, one with an HMC and one with a WW, both CFT. As was the second WW in the system.

Grats, man! That's quite impressive...have a rep for your efforts :D
My record is 3 in one day...1 ringed. In fact, my second ELW was ringed...I didn't know how rare they were at the time, so I just thought it looked cool. I'm now up to 8 or so, and I still enjoy every one I find :D
In fact, I've just found a record-setting ELW...it's in a system with 7 stars.

And then, just as I was about to call it a night and log off...

I so should have bought a lottery ticket this weekend ;)

Wait, what? It's in a system with 7 stars or it orbits the barycentre of a 7 star arrangement? The former is pretty cool, the latter is ??!?! how does that work out, show me a pic of the sysmap.

It's in a system with 7 stars...does a 7-star barycenter even exist :O?
Here's a pic (system name is blacked out):

Congratulations! Very nice find indeed! :) I think the children would have onderstood the cheering in this case (given they are old enough to check...) ;).

In the more than 100 systems I have discovered ELWs in, just one of those was a double. They're pretty rare. Nice find. :)

Are you saying the Earth like planet is actually named ABCDEFG 1 or something similar?

I'm guessing from your pic, vague though it is,that the ELW is just orbiting the first star, A 5 by the look of it?

You're right...I really need to fix the wording; it's in a system with 7 stars :p.

Very nice CMDR!
I've not found a double ELW yet and have only found 6 in total (2 of which have my name on them). I have however found a couple of ringed water and ammonia worlds.

Fairy nuff. I think the most stars I've seen an ELW in orbit around is 4 (ABCD 1),here's a pic :

Orbiting 7 would have been quite remarkable. Let alone the idea of life evolving on a planet with an insane orbit like that. :)

Edit : ok, I found one orbiting 5 at once :

And then there's this one... In orbit around a black hole, neutron, white dwarf and a K class all at once? Crazy. Would astro-physicists on that planet find it easier or harder to work out how the universe works with a local sky like that?

By coincidence I discovered two ELWs orbiting each other yesterday too. Had to travel out almost 60,000 LS from the arrival point since these were orbiting the third star in a trinary system, of course the furthest star.

Been days since I saw an ELW or even a WW since the area I'm in is dominated by M-class stars. These appear to have mainly landable worlds and HMC worlds if anything, sometimes terraformable, sometimes landable and terraformable so naturally I have to land and pick up a few rocks.

Grats on the finds! It's funny how that happens, before DWE I never saw more than 1 ELW in the same system, then on DWE I found 4 systems with a binary ELW pair each in a short space of time. When you're on a roll, I guess :)
