Newcomer / Intro Ok can't get anywhere can't find my escape vector!

OK Just started.

Flown out of my inital station. Selected a target (either in the same system or an another system) and when ever I try and Jump or supercruise to that location I get a message saying I need to go to the "escape vector". I can see nothing on my navigation to indicate where this is....... nor can I find it by "spinning around like a fool"

Starting to conclude that the game is rubbish..... so please tell me how to fix this!

Look at the compass to the top left of your radar display. Align your ship so that the solid blue dot is in the centre of the circle.

to the left of the 'radar' thing is a little compass. That shows you. If the dot in it is solid, escape vector is ahead, if it is hollow, escape vector is behind. Align with that and all is good.

just to the left of the radar is a small circle with crosshairs and a blue dot in it. that blue dot points towards your objective be that planet, station, escape vector. Thisa isnt always there but seems to be when its something important like that.

Just get a away from the planet, station whatever if you are look arround you can see a blue spot names escape vector. This message just mean that you are to close to a planet for excample. Just get away from it.

If you look left to the radar you see some kind of crossair with a square in it with 2 states full or empty.
You need to align it so that the full square is in the center.

If it is empty it is behind you.

Also when you are withing certain range of a station you can't jump.
Or when it is behind a planet.
