ok have a slight problem with restore missions

hi all well i am having a slight problem with the restore power missions .
i put the power regulator in and the game wont update missions and thats to extinguish fires.
please any info would be great.

Once the regulator is in, did you go to the nearby consol and power up the plant?

yes i did i have allways done it i noticed its only doing it on the missions that involve extinguishing fires after i restored the power i took the power reg out flew out into space and had another go but nope still no update. I have even gone back to the station i got the mission from and had a rerun from there and it wont even update the mission when i land there .
now if i only do the restore missions without the extinguish fires the missions works a treat.
I have been doing these missions since patch 2 and all went without a hitch.

I have the same issue. When you get close to the settlement in question I get the mission update pop-up, but when I land I don't get the the required action in the top-right i.e. restore power or extinguish all fires.
Sometimes I also get a pop-up which states that I don't have a mission critical item. I assume that in this case it is the power-regulator, although I am able to place it in the reqired slot in the power building.
Everything was fine regarding these missions until the latest update.

Another friend is also reporting the bug, which sucks.

I'm doing mainly settlement raids, reccomend them. The loot seems better and its fun to see how many I can get before they set off the alarm.

I had the same problem the other day with every Restore mission i tried. Found no fix. Now I see no restore missions at all. Anywhere I look within the bubble.

to ext fire
cut roof panel and vent the air (putting out fire in that building) (sometimes environmental panels are located on the side outside)
the settlement must be powered to be able to vent...……..
(which makes no sense as buildings don't have an inner outer air lock pressure door so would be impossible to pressurize )
(original doom got this right on mars one of the first fps ever made )
(sadly that tells me breadbin never really played it)


unless you've found a bug of course...….
ive had no problems?

Your lucky your even getting the missions, litteraly every single station or outpost I have been to over the past few days 'all' the support missions are missing from the mission boards, its the only option greyed out with 0 to choose from. Not sure why this is like this for me and others seem to be still getting them but if there broken anyway I suppose I'm not missing much

They supposedly fixed the missions, but not the spawn rate. I don't think I've seen one with fires since the fix, I'll have to keep an eye out (this thread is ancient and started when the missions were broken).

Found 3 Restore+Fire missions and all worked fine. One had a wrinkle where I had to put out a fire via the cuttable panel rather than the internal panel, but that was a nice wrinkle, so I hope it was deliberate. They're at least as do-able as they were before - if you can find them, as they are still far too rare 🤷‍♀️
