Newcomer / Intro Ok, here's a daft question about assignment of keys...

When first receiving my sidewinder I could use the discovery scanner by pressing 'M'.

After buying a Viper but then trading back down to a Sidewinder, I see I still have a basic scanner but it isn't assigned to the 'M' key.

I've had a look at the options menu - 'M' is for my secondary weapon.

So how do I get to use the scanner again?!

Go to you fire groups in the ship right hand panel and assign the basic discovery scanner to fire button 2 in the group.
