Powerplay Ok, I will say it: Thargoid Wars mechanics would be PERFECT for Powerplay.

This is something I am mumbling about since basically Update 14 release.

Thargoid Malestroms systems seem awfully similar to Powerplay Control Systems, as concept, affecting the surrounding systems in a similar way than exploited systems are (even if with a smaller radius, unless for now).

And... every single action somehow affects the progress of the different systems, making it apparently far more challenging than what Powerplay is (as I said other times: hauling stuff losing money, killing the less challenging NPCs in the game, continuously, in an endless grindy effort).

So, FDev, pretty please... can you use the Thargoid Wars mechanics as a blueprint for a new and better Powerplay...? Maybe making it as dangerous and challenging as the Thargoid Wars are?
