OK OK Let’s Give It Up For, DW2 Organizers

Way Point 4 was just announced and again I was totally blown away by the comprehensive route planning.
We were given the route with maps and points of interest with descriptions at each poi. This is completely above and beyond anything I was expecting.

I am now so much looking forward to getting a new Way Point. I now dive into each mini WP planning how much time to spend at each and what to do there, And then there are those side trips, how do I fit them all in in just 7 days?

I see all the planning and time spent creating these Routes, Newsletters, Events and trip logistics.

I want to thank you all so much for the hard work and many hours spent putting together DW2.

One thing that makes this game so great is the people not just playing for them selves but so others can enjoy the game together.

When i saw how ambitious and how big dw2 was getting I thought it wouldn't work as good as people were hyping it up to be. i thought it would be too hard to manage. I thought dw1 was big enough and just about the right size to make it a good community event, But now I see how the whole concept and presentation of dw2 and the way they're putting it into practice is working and its been an amazing experience to be part of this. its even more amazing when you know these are people who do all this are doing it in their spare time.
The maps are amazing, as are the waypoints we can visit and all the information about them. the events we can take part in too! then i see for first time yesterday dw2 even has newsletters too packed full of what's happening and i'm blown away by how much work goes into this. there is probably all sorts of stuff i'm missing out on because its got so many things going on!! [heart]

Oh totally - hear hear. Not on the trip myself but I'm following all the newsletters and associated content with interest and the effort and enthusiasm that's been put into organising this is stunning. Bravo chaps and chapesses - you're doing your ED community proud!

I read about DWII in the Polygon article last month and just knew I had to take part. Which was difficult because I didn't even have the game :eek: Now I have and its been a big learning curve but the last few weeks have been the best times I've had in a game for years. Thank you to everyone who made this event happen.

Huzzah!

+1 - totally agree with OP. Ab fab job - kudos to all the organisers... and all of the expedition crew.

My experience was confirmed on my first day of the expedition when I pancaked onto The View. I was convinced, screaming toward the surface (literally), I was thinking my adventure was over before it begun.

Within minutes of recovering from shock and 7% remaining of my tattered hull, I made my plea for help; two mechanics were onsite in a flash and I was good to go!

Keep up the wonderful work - looking forward to completing the expedition. Something, apparently, that I wouldn't be able to do by myself! :)

I couldn’t agree more. This is my first expedition with others and I’ve been blown away by the organisation and sense of community.

Now, if only Erimus, DrKaii et al could have organised a sabbatical for me for the duration of the trip;)

I've finally caught up to the fleet after being a later starter  So far I've seen some wonderful systems along the way, but I've also made bunch of friends too which for a new player makes the game so much more fun. In other games I was always a bit of a loner. Another thank you to frontier developments and the people making this expedition. :)

Been all good here. My first organized trip and I can see that much thought and effort was put into it. Thank you so much for all who put into it. Still got a long ways to go, cant imagine what I am going to see.
