OK. This Weekend Has Driven Me To A Tablet.

With all the outages, and denial around here, I'm playing local tablet games that don't depend on online servers.

Even Monopoly and older staples are better than being dependent on the always online services that *can't be played at all*.

This may mean other platforms than full computers may be affected as well, if they depend on a constant online connection.

Steam will feel the heat. :(

Was the pun intended?

They are trying to get players on to Planet Coaster and Jurassic Park.

PC and JP on tablets would be a good move business wise.

You can as been pointed out use them on the loo.

What backwater hovel do you live in where your internet goes down all the time? Where I live I get 312 MB (BT tell me it's only 300) and it has remained on for a solid 5 months or so from when it was installed.

Most of my steam games don’t require an internet connection to play them.
