It's a game. Who cares if all 50+ speck-sized asteroid moons of Jupiter and Saturn are there clogging up the supercruise orbital views? If you want that level of fidelity, go download Space Engine.
Everyone who enjoyed the accuracy attempted in FE2? Even within its known limitations (i.e. galaxy thickness), it was pretty dam good. Especially considering its time.
Everyone who currently enjoys the attempted accuracy for a known and plausible galaxy? Why use star catalogs as a base if "it's only a game"?
Everyone awaiting the orrery, where cool orbits can be "observed from" (I guess) which is not typically available for main planets near the ecliptic.
The creators of the game? DB already said
Kupier/Oort/Coments would be in.
Why would I download Space Engine? I'm already "playing" it like crazy

Unfortunately it doesn't really have any game mechanics in, and currently it's a bit too crash happy. Can't wait for
0.972 though, it looks insanely nice, have a look at the
trailer.
As for invisible, they're showing orbits, no reason they shouldn't be able to place pixel markers for subpixel size bodies as well. But yeah, very important, especially for the orrery function. Just take a look at their orientation. I'm guessing you won't find too many of those for most planets, which are typically close to the ecliptic.
Bah. "It's only a game"? That's blasphemy in ears of our old timers.

This is science, education, a trigger to search the unknown. It just so happens to have gameplay elements attached.
