Old Codgers Games Suggestions Thread

Situation > My Xbox chums (x5) and me, 50 somethings, used to play lots of Elite for depth and World of Tanks for quick fun a couple of years ago. Since then we have dabbled in NMS, Forza Horizon, even a bit of Fortnite ( not the crazy kids building version but the reduced jump and no 'build' one ( pls dont judge)) and MSFS amongst other games. In the meantime I had a custom PC constructed to play SC and Cities Skylines and much fun I did have ( gave the PC to my gamermad daughter) and have since just gamed on a Xbox Series X
Anyways ... we have been looking for a 'console multiplayer' game to play with each other, please may I have your suggestions of games that we might try ?
ps we, well 3 of us are currently enjoying EA PGA Golf.

Haven't played on Xbox for a while, Trev...but son currently plays Rust, Red dead online, Hell let Loose and a few others with mates (all 30-somethings).

Since Hell let Loose is cross platform with the PS5 (not PC unfortunately, even though I own it on PC as well), I join in with him and his mates on occasion :)

I heard BG3 is good. I've never played XBox; one of the few ppl who game I am. If you could narrow your interests into general category may help. For example:
Military
Space
Fantasy/Sword and Sorcery
Simulators
I'm guessing FPS and/or RPG
Have a great day

😲 I just knew it was on console and friends recommended it.
As for MP...how about Darktide then? Horde mayhem in L4D tradition with somewhat dedicated melee finesse where you dont simply w+m1 - pardon my PC speak. I believe it's on Xbox too.

Thanks for taking the time to answer people we have been blessed with a surprise release of Baldurs Gate 3 so the D&Ding has commenced.
