Old Galactic maps and trade route data from previos versions of elite....

Would the info from them be same or close to same as what have today? Do systems and planets and outposts have the same factions from 25 years ago? Whether systems are same in what they import/export as in 25 years ago a system was corporate with mostly agricultural settlements, would that planet be the same todays Elite? Some where I have folders and folders of data i collected over the years playing Elite. Wonder if worth the trouble digging them up?

The planet/stations names are likely the same, baring any oddities. I doubt things like trading data is anywhere close to what it was in previous games. It wasn't even the same between Elite 1/2/3.
