Hardware & Technical Old question, can't find the right (helpful) answer - Thrustmaster T3PA Pro

So, BRAND new to ED. Have the T3PA Pro pedals (iRacing guy here). I have the clutch and gas bound for the yaw, and they work, but have a HUGE deadzone within the game. When I check in the TM Control Panel utility, it has 100% movement. But, when in ED, again, have to push halfway to get either one to fire. Now, I've read a few scattered posts where ppl have mentioned this, but never any "fix". I don't need the utility that most seem to use for the G29 as ED registers both, just a way to kill that deadzone. The only thing I can find is for analog and these are digital. Has anyone ever found a fix? There is ZERO way I could convince the wife to let me build two rigs, so I have to make one work, and the pedals are perm mounted under the desk, so they have to do for my yaw

My flight controls are the Warthog setup, so no twist

I guess you bound the pedals to "yaw left" and "yaw right". Do I get my cookie for clairvoyance? Thanks :)

Those bindings are not analogue, they are either 100% on or 100% off, so if you bind an axis, it will go from off to on at some threshold. Now that's not a huge issue with yaw in most cases because most ships don't rotate very well on that axis, so all you notice is the threshold. For a proper analogue control, you need a device that produces a single axis (as flight pedals do) and map that to the "yaw axis" binding. You may be able to configure your pedals to have a combined throttle/brake axis and then use that, but the asymmetric pedals would make it feel weird.

Ahh! Here's your cookie, and some milk as a bonus! I never even thought about the digital being all on or off. That makes perfect sense! So I guess that software for the G29 it is! From what I gather it turns them into analog, single axis, and that's fine. The Thrustmaster CP can do the same thing, but it uses the brake as one of them. I have a Load Cell on that and it's can be hard to press ;)

Shadow, thank you. I now have a direction (all pun intended) to go in for this.

You may be able to simulate the axis using the T.A.R.G.E.T software. Or, alternatively, The T.Flight Rudder Pedals can be picked up here in the states for $80 at Newegg.

The pedals were not showing up in TARGET, only the Warthog thruster and stick. I would love to get another set of pedals and just "do it right", but again, the wife wont go for it. Have to make it all work in one rig lol. Thank you for the input though. Responses are always appreciated
