General Old Skybox - please return it to Live!

Please revert the skybox to its previous settings.
Currently it has a lot of issues and reveals visual artifacts.

IMHO, it's better to return the Horizon's colorful and awesome lighting instead of adjusting the Skybox picture.

I agree. The 2D template the used for the spiral arms would look cool from far above but off when within the plane.

I like that the new version removed some of the low res looking stars within the core bulk, however I completely agree it needs more work. The shift to a more uniform blue makes the orange dust clouds stand out too much and so it doesn't blend in as well as it did before.
