Old timers thoughts on the game...

I've been doing a lot of thinking about the current state of the game.

Having been around since late Alpha as well as playing the original game in 84 and then the Spectrum and various PC versions... I think that I may have the experience and knowledge of the ED Universe to give an honest opinion of how things are.

Nothing has changed since the original Elite - chucked into the deep end and having to learn quickly how to get around and get the credits. Not even the almost undefeatable Zargon ships to contend with either. Just shows how 'soft' we have become in the last 2 decades, wabting too much on a plate from the start.
