Hardware & Technical OLED TV for Elite

I'm in the market for a new TV (I play on PS4 Pro) and I am leaning towards the 2017 LG OLED 55".

I am thinking of OLED for a simple reason: Elite is my primary game and at the end of the day it means that 90% of the time I am looking at a mostly black screen. OLED panels are well-known for their deep black blacks, and I think that Elite could look stunning on a good OLED.

So, is there anyone who has experience in running Elite on an OLED monitor/TV? (Bonus points for the very same model I'm looking at). Is it a good idea?

Well, I occasionally run elite dangerous via my phone with a 1440p oled screen, it looks awesome.. no reason it wouldn't look amazing on an oled TV too.

Only thing is worry about is screen burn, oled's are quite susceptible to it. If you game for long periods of time I'd be a little concerned about the HUD elements damaging the display.

Yeah I've read about that. Apparently yellow/orange are precisely the most "dangerous" colours... But there's some kind of "refresh" system in order to avoid that. Besides, I hardly ever play for longer than 2/3 hours at a time.
