Elite fans of a certain vintage might like to know that Oliver Frey, he of the airbrushed magazine covers of the 8-bit era, is selling limited edition prints of some of his work including the 1985 Elite inspired cover art from Zzap64 issue 1 depicting a ship that's almost a Cobra fighting a bunch of ships that are almost Geckos.
See http://oliverfreyart.com/limited-edition-prints/4547006531 (bottom left corner of page 1) for ordering links.
The quality is stunning, with a fantastic amount of detail and colours that aren't visible in digitized versions of the image. The prints are a limited numbered edition of 50, of which at least six have already been sold.
Although created as a magazine cover the print works just as well in landscape orientation as it does in portrait, should you have a preference for landscape framing.
Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with Oliver Frey's commercial activities; I'm just a happy customer who'd like other Elite fans to know about this poster's availability.
