Olivia Vespera has another idea: The Virtual Player (Driven) Economy (Out-of-Game)

The problem with aesthetics that are better than those in the store is that thy are better than the store, and that makes them preferable. That cuts off dome of the company's revenue stream for the game which pays for in-game improvements.

I doubt that will ever be the case because the cosmetics you buy from Frontier with real cash actually show up in-game. And they're beautiful!

The cosmetics from this system can only be seen out of game and cover... areas of use that aren't covered in Elite:Dangerous.

Frontier Cosmetics will still be valuable for those reasons.

I think this is a valuable point that I'll add to the FAQ.

If you can get such a system going and the required plugins aren't too resource intensive I'll definitely sign up and use it.

I'm really curious about the idea. I'd like to see it implemented.

I'm particularly interested in the concepts around the player mission board.

As a random example, right now there's 14 systems I need to go check out. If I was able to create a "mission" for each system, something like "go there, scan the system, report back anything strange" and get some sort of assurance that it's been done, and then pay people in Tridots, I'd totally be interested in that.

Give me time...

That would work in the system. I am looking for folks able to help me with this.

This is quite a large project and it will have to be broken up into development cycles or phases.
