Omega Merchant Command hereby denies the scurrilous reports in the Galatic Rag of 14 February 3308 claiming Omega Merchant Command was involved with the Omega Grid network used by rogue elements within Imperial intelligence to coordinate with the Neo-Marlinist Liberation Army and the mysterious organization known as Darkwater.
It is true that Omega Merchant Command hosted one of the Lords of Restoration, Senator Scordato, on the Wings of Peace during OMEC's stewardship of the fledgling Marlinist colony planted at Yano's Propsect in Hyades Sector AB-M b8-2, as we mentioned in our press release of 12 April 3307.
At the time, the existence of the Lords of Restoration was unknown and the Senator Scordato was on a fact-finding mission and operating under Imperial Seal.
It is also true that Omega Merchant Command registered OMEC Grid as a trademark in Lumbla on 22 Jun 3305. OMEC Grid is bespoke software used by OMEC's board of directors to manage the firm. That trademark is still in use and has been renewed annually.
