The funny thing is, if you take the 16k screenshot and actually zoom in on the top of the cockpit area, you can see a commander chair. (Actually, you can see the footplate of the chair, but it's pretty distinctive)

Somebody extracted the model from the game and ran it through a modeler, the CMDRs chair was present in it.

Somebody extracted the model from the game and ran it through a modeler, the CMDRs chair was present in it.

I guess that was needed for a developer to pilot the alien ship so they could shoot the cutscene
