It's nice that we can be so passionate about a game even if some of the discussions get a little intense. But at the end of the day it's just a game. Sometimes the real world can't be ignored. Like most of you I was shocked and saddened by the terrorist attack in Manchester, but also heartened by the tremendous response by the public. From previous events I have seen that the Elite community can be very generous. Taking inspiration from the Manchester Bee tattoo, I had an idea. Wouldn't it be nice if FD released a paint pack to raise money for the victims. I'd suggest Yellow and Black stripes to fit with the theme of the Manchester Bee. I hope that I haven't offended or distressed anyone with my humble suggestion. I'll leave it to FD to decide whether they want to pursue it or not.

It's a lovely, heart felt and genuine idea but...
The world is a complex place, there have been 100+ civilians killed by bombing from US arms in Mosul only recently. Do we tie FD into raising money for that as well? and the next atrocity wherever it is, and the one after that and on and on.
I have no issue at all if FD want to get behind this idea, I'll bye the paint job just as I give to the various charities to help those involved in the tragedy at Manchester (and elsewhere where I can) but I think FD has to step back from this or get involved in supporting all the victims of hate pretty much everywhere. Realistically it's painting FD into a very tight corner.
Better to send what cash or support you can to a relevant charity and hope for and work towards a better world together.

There is enough of that look at me feel good nonsense going on already. The Queen visited them they have enough help and care from peoples whose job it is to help and care. Fdev is a game company. Don't even suggest something as wasteful as this. Pat yourself on the back and feel like a good person for suggesting this and move on back to reality.

It's a generous idea but I do not think that 's the role of Frontier. There will be other attacks and surely still in the UK. And then a paint job associated with a mass killing is not appropriate, especially when we know that the paint job will be continually attacked from by the lasers and missiles. If you meet in the space, the paint job dedicated to the victims of the attack of Manchester, you can fire on him in the game ? It is also a case of conscience
