Setup your basic movement keys, then play the game. Add additional keys as you find a need for them. You'll eventually have a custom setup that's exactly the way you want. Trying to memorize someone else's setup is much harder than gradually customizing your own.
That's how I setup my G13 on every game I use it on.
Thanks, started with the tutorial in-game and began mapping buttons. A lot of buttons to start with, fortunately the basic keyboard mouse profile gave me enough to get started. I also got a great post on how to config the Cyborg from the Azeron discord - Inga (Azeron co-dev) plays Elite just not EDO. If anyone else uses the Cyborg here's that advice:
"But I have heard from Star Citizen guys, that they use flying keybinds on one layer, foot keybinds on other layer, mining on other, etc.
When I keybind for new game, I usually go through this:
1) movement on thumbstick
2) Skills on all 4 pull buttons + index side button
3) Secondary skills / interact, reload, heal, etc on down press buttons and push forward buttons
4) Quick action wheel, quick save, mount, dive, etc. on top buttons
5) Map, inventory, quests, character sheet on 5way button
6) Ping or any scan on pinky side button
7) Jump, dodge and weapon swap is on my mouse
... Remember you can swap the buttons just by drag n drop."
Thanks for the response.
@Rebel Yell Thanks, I've put on the 12 button side plate and am sure I'll eventually get used to where the buttons are.
So many things to learn, so little time. Bought three suits yesterday and going to start with some no threat missions and gather some bio-scans while replenishing mats.
Thanks again for the tips o7 Cmdrs
